Mi abuela solía decir: "hoy tenes una luna", quizás tenga que ver con la astrología, honestamente no lo sé.
Ah tengo un amigo de La Pampa que suele decir "La luna que tengo" o "Me aluné" en referencia a que anda enojado con algo.

I´m not sure I get it. What do you mean a very old profession? The other expression if I understand correctly is like say "what in the heck happened?" The offensive word is changed out for a non-offensive word that sounds similar. Is that the case with "la pucha"?
yes, that's right, amayo. "a very old profession" is a euphemism for prostitution. maybe that's clearer?
