Indicadores de Asistencia Médica
Hello everybody,
I have a paper to translate about avoidable mortality, and a key point are the "Indicadores de Asistencia Médica."
Here it is in context with a definition:
Los Indicadores de Asistencia Médica (IAM) son una lista de causas o patologías que se utilizan en Mortalidad Evitable para medir la calidad asistencial especializada en instituciones hospitalarias.
However, a google search could not confirm that the term "Medical Assistance Indicators" or "Indicators of Medical Assistance" exist as a measurement.
Does anybody know if there is an official term to express this idea in English?
Many thanks in advance.
Re: Indicadores de Asistencia Médica
What about health care indicators? It may be a possible option...
Re: Indicadores de Asistencia Médica
Thanks Paul . . . I looked for that option, but I don't think it's quite the same (as a list of diseases used to measure the quality of healthcare). After searching online, I found "avoidable death indicators" as a good possibility (based on the abstracts of some of the referenced materials in the paper--unfortunately I don't have access to the full articles).
So I'm going to try that provisionally, unless/until I hear from someone who is familiar with this field and could tell me for sure if this is suitable.
Thanks for your help and for trying!
