Hi there!
I am coping with a highly technical translation on hematopathology of Hodgkin´s Lymphoma from Spanish into English. I came across the term "células en palomita de maíz" for the L&H cells typical of one type of HL. After some research I found just one reliable source that uses the term "popcorn cells". I appreciate if you can help me with some back-up to support my decision to respect that term. Thank you all in advance!;)
Hi gentle! Are you looking for a common name for the cells or something more scientific? I think "popcorn cell" would be ok as long as you specify that it is a L&H cell variant...hope it helps!

Thank you SandraT! Pretty useful link. I had actually been surfing and searching at the American Society of Hematology´s site with no luck. It´s quite a valuable reference.
