How important in internet for you?
Hello everybody!
I am writing a paper for my posgrad. in translation studies and I am interested in the role the internet has in the day to day activities of the professional translator. I think its use has revolutionised, like in so many other areas, the ways translators interact with their colleagues, find work or ask their colleagues for help.
I would be very interested and extremely grateful if you could give me your opinion, based on your personal experience, on how useful the internet is for you as a translator.
Do you use internet regularly when you work? what for?
In what ways do you think internet enhances your work?
What do you think about online networking for translators? which sites do you use? what impact do you think this has on your work?
Do you rely on the opinions of other translators in forum when you need help? do you regularly offer help?
Apart from networking, online dictionaries or finding work, what else do you think you can find in the internet? (for example reading periodicals about technical issues to be up to date with new terminology, education, just for fun..)
THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!

Hey, Popette,
Don't get angry please! I think this is a very interesting issue to discuss. However, you cannot tell it in two lines. Maybe the people who read the post did not have the time to think it over at that time and then forgot.
If you still need help on the matter, you can send me a private message.
Have a nice week!
