Linux shortcuts

Hello,
I'm a new Linux user and find it very difficult to work without shortcuts. I used to work with shortcuts all the time and this increased my productivity considerably. Now, I'm not sure if Linux doesn't have shortcuts or they are different. Does anybody know something about this?

I think I will start using Linux soon too. So I was looking for that information as well.
