What exactly is a Cat Tool?
A CAT Tools is a software used for translation. CAT stands for "Computer Aided Translation". It helps the translator in a lot of ways, dividing the document into segments, creating Trasnlation Memories to keep track of what you translated and HOW you translated it, and create Glossaries.

Yes, the idea is to generate a translation memory and make it easier to translate terms and structures that have already been translated in previous projects.

The only one Iīve heard of is MemSource.
