Subtitling software

Has anybody ever used translation software for subtitles. Which one can you recommend?

I use Subtitle Workshop and Media Subtitler. Both are good, free and easy to use.

A good software is Subtitle Workshop. It is open source and yet complete and useful.

If you have SDL Trados Studio 2009, and your subtitles were made using the SubRip tool then there is a free filetype for this format here on the SDL OpenExchange;
