Hey guys,
I thought it would be fun to start a thread to vent out our DISlikes in movies, for a change :-)
For example, a few days ago I rented a movie called "The EX", starred and directed by Zach Braff whom I admire.
Both the movie title and the cast looked promising, but the plot was such a disappointment! PLUS the movie lasts only 77 minutes and it really makes you regret having spent your precious $5 pesos on it.
That's my contribution. Let's hear yours!
I have a LARGE list of 'not to watch' movies, but I like bad movies so I'd like to know what you think
- Van Helsing: definitely BAD... Frankenstein saving the day hanging from a rope... c'mon!!!
- Ocean's Twelve: Julia Roberts acting like Julia Roberts... priceless
- Dracula 3000: you HAVE to watch this, just for laughs... the worst B movie ever!!! pay special atention to the final explosion... you won't regret it.
- Red Rose: a 'horror' movie that wouldn't scare a baby, starred by a boring house and it's boring owners... boring.
There are many more, but I wanna read yours first!
For me the worst one I have seen recently was "300". It was terrible...it was excessively gory and dull. Anyone else?
I LOVED '300'!!! In fact, I'm about to *** the 2 DVD version :P
I hated "300" but my husband LOVED it... who knows!
DO NOT WATCH "The reaping" ("Prueba de fe"). Definetly BAD!

I saw Factory Girl the other day, which is a movie about the life and death of the leading actress in Andy Warhol's movies.
The movie itself is very good, but I bet Andy Warhol's films were pretty boring. Anyone seen any?

It's a bad copy of "The Notebook" which is one of my favorite movies of all times :-)
Deja vu with Denzel Washington is terrible.
The idea is bad, the characters are stereotypes, the plot is ridiculous, the ending is predictable, it's full of cliches...
That's time I'm not getting back.....I wish I had seen Dracula 3000 instead of this...hahahaha
I know a lot of people liked this movie but watching "The Aviator" was pure torture...the story just didn't go anywhere! Anyone else?
me too, I didn't like the Aviator either. The soundtrack is SUPERB, though.
Please guys! Don't be so good! :D I think there are really bad movies. Please think in Alien vs Predator. Two of the icons of terror-sci-fi promised pure action... but the movie was EXTREMELY BAD!
And, when I thought it couldn't be worst, I see the announcement of ALIEN VS PREDATOR 2!

I saw Bee Movie and I regret to inform you that I think it SUCKED!!!!!!!! does anyone else here find it extremely ridiculous and boring!!!??

"The Golden Compass". I read the books and I found them interesting. The movie included almost all the action, but not the drama. In few words, it was "hollywoodized".Quote:

My sister came home the other day saying 'don't watch The Golden Compass! It's so booooring' haha, so I will not (at least not at a cinema... DVD maybe).
That Alien vs Predator dialogue reminded me of Freedy vs Jason hahaha THAT is a bad movie.
Does anybody love 'Dawn of the Dead' besides me? :P
The other day (like two weeks ago) I came across one of the worse movies I have ever seen... actually, saying it was bad is being too kind. It's called "Shoot'em up". If you go to the video store, don't even think about touching it! It's contagious!
