Hi
What are the best countries to go to ?
Lots of thanks
When I was in Europe I spent most of my time in Spain, which is lovely, but I really loved Portugal. I would recommend it for anyone!
Irak, North Korea, Afganistan, Haiti and Wonderland.
in my humble opinion, and in order of awesomeness, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Morrocco (two hours from Spain by boat).
I'd love to go to China (and Wonderland).
I've been to Spain for several times, it's really a intriguing resorts, not only the beautiful resorts, but also kind people. Tenerife and Costa Brava are my unforgettable places, have you been there before? I’d like to share some travel experiences with you. Which countries impress you most when traveling? Waiting for your chat.
As I posted before Spain is beautiful and if you go there, you can't miss Toledo but Paris is astonishing!!! Anyone who would love to go, I can even recommend nice, cheap hotels close to the Eiffel Tower!!!
Portugal is also beautiful, the coasts, travelling along the coast, going down from Lisbon to the south part of the country. You can't miss the Bacalao which is the specialty of every single restaurant throughout the country.
:)
I have never been to Europe but all the places mentioned here sound like fantastic choices Gee .. I feel like packing my suitcase and being on my way !!!
Yes. Go to Spain to have a great holiday. I have just traveled to Spain and I find that it is the second most visited country in the world. And there the two places you must go are Costa del Sol and Barcelona. In costal del sol you can have a comfortable sunbath and in barcelona you may enjoy the beautiful sandy beach. I love them all very much. May be you also should go to the island Tenerife. I have a great holiday in Spain and hope you all have a good trip there too!
Definitely go to Spain, and I'd say Seville, Barcelona, Alicante and of course The Canary Islands, especially Lanzarote (beautiful biosphere/nature reserve where I come from) and Tenerife, La Palma or Gran Canaria.
Great weather, friendly people and excellent food!
I think Spain is really a beautiful country in the world to visit.Barcelona and Madrid are both great cities. I feel very lucky to have spent a lot of time in Spain. Some other cities to visit: Salamanca, near Portugual, has beautiful architecture. The Basque country, too.San Sebastian is possibly the most beautiful city in the region, but Bilbao is worth visiting for the Guggenheim museum and old town, and the little seaside village of Hondarabbia. Outside Madrid are towns like Segovia, Toledo, and Avila, Toledo is probably the most famous. And Andalucia in the south, Grenada for the Alhambra, and Cordoba is very charming. Seville is very touristic but the old quarter is fantastic and you have to visit the bull ring for a tour!
The Lonely Planet guide books are always an excellent source of info and they tend to be honest, too—some guidebooks manage to find charm everywhere, but LP tells it like it is, so you don't waste time or money. As for taking the train, I found buses to actually be better. They are quite cheap and reasonably comfortable. A friend and I took the bus from Madrid to Grenada, and then travelled by bus all over Andalucia, and it was fine.
Missed the Picasso museum in Barcelona! I spent too much time in the old town... Bilbao.
I think once you're in Spain, you can't miss hotel in tenerife (tenerifeguide.org) and mallorca (mallorcaspain.net). They are all unforgettable places to visit and I'd love to go back for awhile. If you're in Barcelona be sure to check out the Picasso museum as well and I think the best way to get around Spain is by train, and you can see the beautiful scene along the way.
Have a good trip in Spain!
Hello,
don't forget London, Paris and Berlin. The south and north of France and Germany, Belgium (nobody talks about it, but it is very beautiful), Czech Republik, Croatia, the north and south of Italy, Greece, Malta....there are soooo many places to discover. I also agree with Portugal and Spain in some parts.
Cheers,
Mario
I'd love to visit Ireland... such a fascinating country... :p
You're very sweet by choosing Portugal as one of the most beautiful places in Europe... but it's a pity that every country is known by its capital only. You're all invited for a cup of "Port wine" :D and... I forgot a delicious dish: "Bacalhau à Gomes Sá"!
I like Spain and "nuestros hermanos" of course! It is one of the best places where I like to go sometimes :)
I will definitely go to Spain and spend some holiday their . its an interesting place to visit
This is fact there is no country like Spain. It has a wide range of beautiful, historical, and full of natural beauty places. What can more I say….? My favourite city in Spain is Andorra. This city is mostly known as duty free zone. Andorra offers excellent mountains scenery. Peaks of mountains covered with snow and many more points to discuses. Driving in Andorra is such a breathtaking activity. Visiting this part of Spain was a enjoyable and pleasure experience.
