Re: Text from his neighbour
LOLOLOLOL!!! Good one Frank. :D
You should hear me cussin' my phone after I have sent a message that was correctly spelled but autocorrect decided it knew better!!
Cheers, my friend!
Re: Text from his neighbour
Lol...Thank God a while ago I decided to turn off my predictive writing!!!!! My "dumb" thumbs made a major contribution to those "encrypted" messages of mine!
Re: Text from his neighbour
Well, you're way more advanced than I am Frank. I don't even try to text with my thumbs. I use my right index finger and still make mistakes, partly because my other fingers often get involved and tap some unintended key or the screen. I can't possibly type and look at the screen at the same time so I'm always sending something that predictive writing decided for me. You can turn it off!? I'll have to see if I can figure out how to do that. ;)
Re: Text from his neighbour
Hi Vicente,
that wasn't me in the previous reply.
My fingers seem too big, let alone my thumb !
I hardly ever use SMS texting
and now having seen the obvious dangers …
I want to keep my wife alive!
Cheerio !
Frank.

Sure! Let me tell you that you have the chance to either Google it or look it up in YouTube where you have several friendly and short videos to show you how to do it, surely for all different phone brands, devices and models. Here's one I used when changing the setting in my Samsung 8+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8J5jYbinDw. Enjoy it! (and get rid of that annoying predictive writing!)

Re: Text from his neighbour
Cool! I have a Samsung ( S4, a little older than yours:p) and that little video solved the problem.
Thanks Gentle:D
Re: Text from his neighbour
You're welcome! Settings shouldn't be that different from one version to the other. ;-) Sorry I can't help you solve the other issue we both seem to share: Our drumstick fingers! Lol
