Hi
My husband and I are retired teachers. We are trying to pick up Spanish by ourselves so I think I will be asking a number of questions in this forum.
Today we are trying to find out when one would use
Qué Aproveche and when you use Buen Provecho before a meal?
Thank you

Re: Jumac123
Hi! And welcome
About your question: just like you said, before the meal, in Spain is mostly "Que aproveche, and in Argentina is "Buen Provecho" as far as I know.
Hope that answer is to your liking.

I can't say where these phrases are used specifically but I believe both will be understood in any Spanish speaking country. My personal experience, which is limited to Mexico and the countries in Central and South America, is that "buen provecho" is most commonly used.
