Queridos hermanos de
Reciban un cordial y sincero saludo en el nombre de nuestro señor Jesucristo; deseándoles éxitos en sus labores diarias.

El motivo de la presente es para pedirles una colaboraci0on ya que somos un club de jóvenes con ganas de participar, aprender y traer otros a los pies de Cristo, nuestra iglesia esta siendo dirigida por jóvenes, ya que gracias a Dios, la dedicación de hermanos, por amor a Dios hizo llevar a sus hijos y nietos a la iglesia y ahora que ellos ya no pueden llevar las riendas de la iglesia, somos nosotros quienes las llevamos para honra y gloria de nuestro señor Jesucristo.
El punto es que como jóvenes iniciamos el club conquistadores y guías mayores, y este año el campamento será combinado en el mes de abril del 8 al 12 conquistadores y guías mayores. Y el detalle esta que para ir necesitamos $700 dólares, como vamos iniciando no tenemos nada y hemos hecho algunas actividades, pero no ha sido suficiente ya que la mayor parte de los jóvenes que asisten al club son de escasos recursos y no pueden costearse lo que es su uniforme, y por eso de los fondos obtenidos se les ha ayudado a comprar el uniforme los que todavía no lo tienen, y comprar algunas cosas de las que piden en el campamento como el botiquín de primeros auxilios, lazos, mandar a hacer las banderas de El salvador, de Conquistadores y de Guías mayores, los banderines y todo eso. Los gastos grandes que tenemos son el de Carpas y bolsas de dormir, la comida y el transporte.
Y nosotros queríamos saber si ustedes están en la disposición de ayudarnos aunque sea con carpas que ya no necesiten ustedes o con lo que puedan nosotros les estaremos muy agradecidos ya que queremos ir al campamento pero la situación en el país esta muy mal existe un alto índice de desempleo, nuestros encargados son adultos mayores y la mayoría de jóvenes están estudiando, y como son menores no pueden trabajar. Nosotros sabemos que ustedes tienen sus propios gastos, y todo pero esperamos que Dios les habrá las ventanas de los cielos y les colme de ricas y abundantes bendiciones. Disculpen la molestia que les ocasionamos al pedirles su ayuda. Muchas gracias por la atención a la presente; juntamente con esta carta vienen fotografías de la hermandad salvadoreña que se encuentra en el oriente del país en el departamento de Usulután una ciudad llamada Ozatlán, y de los jóvenes que formamos el club de Conquistadores y guías Mayores.
No teniendo nada más que decirles, si no de antemano darles las gracias, y desearles que Dios les bendiga y colme de muchas bendiciones nos suscribimos ante ustedes.

Dear Brothers:

We send a warm and sincere greeting in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ; wishing success in your daily work.

The reason for this letter is to request you to work with us. We are a club of young people desiring to participate, to learn and to bring others to the feet of Christ. Our church is managed by young people, inasmuch as, thanks to God, the dedication of brothers, through love for God, those who brought those children and grandchildren to the church but now who can no longer direct the church, we are the ones who continue for the honor and glory of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The point is that as young people, we initiated the (gee, I don’t know. Conquerors and Adult Guides, maybe? Or maybe just Conquerors Club and their adult guides) club, and this year camping will be added April 8th through the 12th. We are stopped by the lack of $700. As we are just beginning, we have nothing. We have started some activities, but not enough since most of the young people that attend the club are of limited resources and cannot pay for their own uniforms. Because of that, the funds we have obtained so far have helped to buy uniforms - there are those who still do not have them – and some things needed in camping like a first aid kit, to have the flags of El Salvador and the club made, for pennants, and all that. The biggest expenses we have are tents, sleeping bags, food, and transportation.

We wanted to know if you are in a position to help us. Even tents you no longer need would be very welcome. We want to go camping, but there is a high rate of unemployment. The people in charge are adults, but most of the young people are in school, and, as they are small, they cannot work. We know you have your own expenses, but we hope God will open the windows of Heaven and shower you with riches and abundant blessings.

Please forgive our asking for help. Thank you for your attention to this letter. With this letter are photos of the Brotherhood of El Salvador located in the eastern part of the country in the Department (i.e. province) of Usulutan in a city called Ozatlan, and of the young people that make up our club and the adult guides.

I'm a treasurer for a church. Charities are having an awful time right now. And I really have not done just a lot of Spanish study this month.
