Spanish Tract
Hi, I am going to the Dominican Republic in June with my church. I was surfing the net looking for Christian resources in Spanish and I found a Spanish gospel tract. I have translated most of it from Spanish to English so I can share it with the rest of the mission team, but there are a few phrases that I am not sure about - can someone help?
Thanks for your help!
Debbie
--------------
Antes de Poder Subir - Before Being able to Rise
(This is the title for the tract - maybe it means something like "Before You Can Rise to Heaven ... or some similar idiom?)
Dilo a él in oración: Señor, reconozco que soy pecador
??? to him in prayer: Lord Jesus, I recognize that I am sinner .
(Maybe this is a typo? for example, should Dilo really be Digalo?)

Re: Spanish Tract
Hi Debbie,
As far as the first phrase goes, I would go with your option as well.
The second, Dilo is not a typo. It is actually the informal (Tú) imperative form of the verb Decir. Digalo would be the formal (usted).
Translation: Say it to Him in prayer.
Hope it helps!
Hugs!
