Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
Well, I'm not sure what "Pinche" means, but what i do know is "Pinche Mamone" means F***ing c**k sucker, but again, "Pinche" might not mean any of that.
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
Hi Michelle,
I'm from Guatemala and there we use "pinche" in a derogatory or disparaging way, to describe something we don't care much for.
But as many countries as there are, you can find many meanings on each one of them.
E.g. él se fue en su pinche auto (he drove away and left in his "pinche" car)
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
You're married to him.. I dont understand why you cant just ask your husband what it means. And in the Mexican community it means "fucking".. Sort of a filler word. But if his Spanish is from a country other than Mexico then it may be different
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
Since you did not mention where your husband is from it is difficult to know how he feels about what he says to you. In Mexico I have never heard the work pinche made in a positive tone and it often could be translated as "fucking" but I have heard it applied to children (just as in English we may call them little monsters or the like), so in not so negative a tone but a joking way of referring to them.
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
Well, If you look for a right literal translation, I think you wouldn't find anything suitable.
However, If I were to call my partner "little pinche", it think "pinche" would be a diminutive form of the word "compinche", which means "compañero", partner, sidekick, buddy, fellow, companion, mate.
Actually, I believe that this could make sense because of the expression "little fellow".
Hope this was helpful.
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
Wow. I never knew what it meant either but agree that whenever I heard the term it was always in a derogatory fashion. I should have paid attention when my Grandmother tried to teach me Spanish growing up. Oh well...coulda, woulda, shoulda! Hope you find your answer Michelle.
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
pinche means kitchen help
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
How interesting. So many different meanings. How does one know which is the correct definition?
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
Interesting word depending on where in the world you come from. The translation of pinche depends on the ancestry of the person using it. Descendants of Spanish or Cubans would use it as a cook's helper while Mexican and Central American people would tend it to mean the derogatory f---ing or pinching pennies.
Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
The only use I have heard of this word is in a derogatory way. It means f----ing as in "this f---ing keyboard". They may be other meanings. Where do you reside and where is your husband from?

I have many mexican...hispanic freinds, and was raised with many. While i am not fluent in most anything but english, I know that all my friends say that such word is a very bad...I don't even like typing it. If I ever used that word with my wife she would slap me and most likely divorce me. A man or woman that respects their spouse would never use such language.

Re: What does "PINCHE" mean?
I think that Michelle's husband doesn´t even know what it means. That word has a very bad meaning, it's employed to send people to the hell ajajaja Like "Pinche Cabrón"
