Esta estofa de un poema fue escrito en Argentina. Ni mi esposa, ni yo podemos traducirlo suficientemente bien en inglés. Lo mejor que puedo hacer es:

Could you explain to me,
what is this obsession
of getting myself in his business,
knowing his rheumatism[?], his relatives,
growing around there,
stirring up my soul?

Hi Penn, is very dificult to translate this metaphorical language, and the Argentinian slang therms/phrases like "con qué se come" that means something like "how can I interpretate" (not exactly).
I think that your translation is fine, some lines are impossible to translate, for example "sabiéndole su reuma, sus parientes", metaphorical spanish is so elegant, but hard/imposibble to translate.
