Meaning & Spelling
I met a woman who has an all white cat, whom she had named Wheddo (this is the phonetic description). She told me that it means "white". I had learned that the Spanish word for white is blanco, and am wondering if there is another Spanish word for white also. This woman is Mexican-American, so I am not doubting her - I am the clueless one. Can anyone help me with spelling the word that sounds like "wheddo" and means white? Thanks.

Re: Meaning & Spelling
When I pronounce Wheddo, it sounds an awful lot like juego, or game. Tic-tac-toe in Mexico is juego gato. Might you have misunderstood her?

Re: Meaning & Spelling
She was very specific in stating that it meant white. Also, I had called him 'Wheddle" and she corrected me with Wheddo. Thank you for the help.

Re: Meaning & Spelling
Thank you. I have taken a closer look at the cat, and I suspect that he is an albino, so the Güero description could very well fit.
Thank you all for your help.
