Translating service help, where to turn?
Hello,
I'm thinking of consulting some translating service for my personal website (from English to Spanish), and I'm wondering where to turn.
There is not a lot of text to be translated, but I'd like the little there is to be as well put as possible (or at least, as true to the original as possible... ;)). It's informal text and some menu items.
An awareness of the differences between the European and Latin American Spanish would be super, to make it a bit more "universal", and to avoid those particular words that could be misinterpreted in one way or another.
Please let me know if anyone can help and how much the cost would be. (I'm guessing per word..?)
Thank you very much!

Hi Micu! I don´t know any services personally but Trusted Translations is a popular company. You will find their site easily if you google them. What´s your site about? I´d love to take a peak! ;)
Let´s wait to see if anybody else has any other suggestions.

Hi! It's just a tiny site with some paintings of mine. (www.micudesign.com) It is not quite done yet, but it would be nice to be able to publish the site in its current state, since it gets visitors from Spain. I've tried to translate the menus myself but that needs proof-reading as well. I will consider Trusted Translations - if nothing else they might be able to help me with the French. Thank you for the tip! :)

Hi, I'm Belén from Argentina, I'm a Freelancer Eng-Spa Translator and I've translated a couple of web pages to neutral Spanish as you request. If you are interested I could take a look at it.
Here's my e-mails accounts: [email protected], [email protected]

Hello!! My name is Melissa. I am not a certified translator however, I believe my english is as good as my spanish (which is my first language). Maybe I could be of some assistance translating the text. :)

Thank you, Belén and Melissa! I have already received some help through the PM system here in the forum, but if I should need anything else translated, I know where to turn! :) Best wishes.
