I am at a lost trying to translate "I'll make it up to you" Can someone please help me?
That's a little tough ecuanime. "To make it up" means to repay or compensate but that is a little formal. Depending on the context you could say "te compensaré" ... I will compensate you...if it's personal. Or if it is in a business or less personal setting: "le compensaré a usted"Quote:

Also if it is like the repayment of debt or a favor in which the person lost something or money you can use reembolsar or to reimburse:Quote:

Yeah, I was looking for the translation in a context of that sort. For example, my wife has done so many things for me and our family lately without any complaints, and me being compassionate, I feel as if I have to "make it up to her."Quote:

OK, I understand. You need something like "I/we owe you so much (for all you've done) and I will find a way to show you how much you are appreciated".Quote:

How about this:
"I know that recently you have done a lot for me and the family without complaining and I have not shown compassion. You deserved better. I promise I will do everything in my power to return the favors and affection so that you know you are appreciated."
A todos: Favor de corregir los errores.

Hola Ecuánime! Hola Vicente!
:) Saludos,

¿Mira Mer, hay expresíon o idioma para decir "make it up to you"?
Hope it helps Vicente!
Gracias Mer!Quote:

Estoy sorprendido que los maridos no tienen expresion en español para pedir perdon de sus mujeres por sus errores y pecados:p Aqui "I'll make it up to you" es una expresíon muy útil.;)
vicente:)
jajaja Vicente!
