Hi Guys!
How can I translate "Certificate of the Matriculation Examination"
is it simply "certificado de diploma"?
Hi California,
A MATRICULATION EXAMINATION refers to High school final exams. It it the student's tranfer from the secundary school to tertiary. I've seen "EXAMEN DE MADUREZ", which I find it utterly rare, also "EXAMEN DE ADMISIÒN"
Let's see if someone else come up with something else.
Thanks for you help!
Hola Diego
I was talking to my stepson and he says "certificado de diploma", which certifies that one has graduated successfully from secondary, would be correct. He also mentions "hoja de notas", which is a document given in Costa Rica when passing from secondary to high school. He says "examen de madurez" is when a person 18 years or older, who did not graduate high school, takes an exam to qualify for a "bachillerato" or high school diploma. Sorta like the GED program in the U.S.
Hi Vicente,
Thanks for your help. I'll see what version to use. What about EXAMEN DE ADMISION?
Well, could be Diego. To me they mean essentially the same thing. An exam given to allow matriculation, advancement or admission to the next level.
Have you considered something like "certificado de matriculacion" o "certificado del examen de matricula o matriculacion"?
The point is, Vicente, that in my country MATRICULA, or MATRUCULACION would sound rare. I think I' d go for Examen de admision or Certificado de Diploma.
Many Thanks
I think either choice will work just fine mi amigo. :D
Vicente, Exx
Thanks for your help again. I'll go for "examen de Admisiòn"
