Parallel words for speech and song
I'd like to find the words for speech and song that are grammatically parallel. Here's the sentence: ...un músculo importante en la producción de sonido, como habla y song. What word would I use for song? Would I use canción or cantar or what? Is habla OK for speech?
Re: Parallel words for speech and song
You can say "...un músculo importante en la producción de soni, para el habla y para el canto."
Re: Parallel words for speech and song
It looks so easy - "para el habla y para el canto." Much of the translation I got from Google Translate is heavy and stuffy. My 500-page script in Spanish is loaded with phrases that will put people to sleep. Thanks for a phrase that might wake them up.

First off, Adam: it is "pelusa" with an "s". And Diego...you've swallowed the "n" from "aguantate" (some Spanish flavors will demand an accent on the "a", too -aguántate-).
