Just a word
Hi everybody, I'm doing some translation for University. The novel is Paul Gallico's Flowers For Mrs. Harris, and even though I have been doing quite alright I still cannot understand what a HARPSICHORD is  Could you help me out a little? I probably don´t fully undersatdn because I haven´t seen any. I cannot find a single picture, just an explanation stating it's kind of a piano with one or 2 keyboards but with strings in it :( Not helpful definition at all... I assume it should be something similar to a spanish "clavicordio" but I really couldn´t tell...
Can anyone help me please?!??!
Thank you so very much in advance... :)

People, i found out the literal translation in www.wordreference.com, it is what I thought, a "clavicordio". For those who don't know what a clavicordio is, it is a mucisal intrument, similar to a piano with usually 2 keyboards, you will probably remember it, if you`re around my age, because Captain Hook from Peter Pan played one in his ship, or at least that was shown on the cartoon :p
Thanks a lot anyway!!!
