the above sentence is from a childrens book I am preparing for a couple of teachers to use when teaching the little guys to sopeak Spanish. In the process I am teaching myself. I have the word for word translation from Google Translate but it makes no sense. Iḿ going to need a thought fro thought translation. The book is El Algarrobo Magico and this sentence is on página 4.

I appreciate your concern but you do understand that you just told me to give up trying to learn spanish, don't you? Actually, if makes every cow in Texas hair lipped I'm going to get this done. I came here looking for friendship and help, not trouble or useless answers. I did try to help you by underlining the mistakes in your Spanish phrase, and corrected them; I honestly do not understand what kind of answer you expected.
