Hello!
This is the first time I post a thread in this forum. I know that with Wordfast I can leave empty segments while translating, but I simply don't know how. Could you help me out? Thanks everybody! |

I never tried leaving empty segments in Trados, lesser still in Wordfast, but what comes as an idea is to simply do "Copy Source" and then pass to the next string. In this case, you will not have an empty segment, but you won't have a translation either, if that's what you're looking for.
Does this help? ![]() |

You can just try by entering a space in the target segment.

I would leave the source text, then I would export the TM, I would open it with a text or TM editor (It could be Notepad for example or Olifant) and I would delete the text on the target language.
