Hello!
I found out about Translatorbase the other day, and I would like to know your opinion about it. I don't have a degree in translation (I'm a mechanical engeneer in Spain), but I was brought up in Scotland. I would like to work as a translator, but I'm finding it difficult to get a job in a company dedicated to translating. Do you recomend going as a freelancer? Thanks. |

Hello Carlos. Have you worked as a translator? I have worked as a translator and I'm struggling to find a job as a translator because I don't have a degree in English like most people here. I have a degree in Business. Tell us where you have applied for projects... |

Carlos jamie
Translatorsbase is very good and does bring in work ,it is best to obtain a paid membership. Also please remember that just because you speak 2 or more languages does not mean you can translate, although most people think you can. Best of luck |
