Smile Help me with an investigation!!!!!

Please, can somebody help me? i am new on this forum, I am so glad to have found this place where translators help each other. I graduated last year at the School for foreign languages of Havanna as a German/English-Spanish translator. Now I am looking for information to write an important paper for my mastery about translation when both origin and target languages are foreign languages. Does somebody know any link or bibliography (better available online) where I can find information about it? I really need it. If u help me I would really appreciate it. I want to help u as well then u can count on me, especially if it has to do with something in German. Thanks in advance, Maikel.

Hi Maikel, I have no idea myself, but I will call some friends onto this thread. Let's see if they can help you.

Default Thanks again!!!!

Hi, everybody, I thank u all for helping me. I´d like to ask u for another favor, do u know where I can find some scientific papers online or any other kind of bibliography containing the following topic: ¨Idioms in general, how they should be treated in the process of translation¨, ¨English idioms and their translation into Spanish¨? I´d really appreciate it, too. Vielen Dank, Maikel.

Hola Maikel: espero hayas encontrado algo ya. Es una lástima que no lo tenga aquí pero en 4to año de la universidad hice específicamente un trabajo investigativo sobre las expresiones idiomáticas y su traducción. En aquel momento era algo más difícil pues la internet no existía...quizás esté archivado por ahí... como ves me sigo exponiendo con eso de mi corta vida...
Si encuentro algo, te aviso.

Dear Maikel,

maybe I can help,
I studied German and if you send me your work, I can check it for you if you like.

I also have a page with Spanish/English idioms :

Kindest regards,
Frank.
