Sports Discuss anything related to sports, including the translation of sports terminology. Why is a bicycle kick called a "chilena” in Argentina? Is a home run a jonrón, a cuadrangular or simply a home run? Who is the best footballer in the world?

I just recently got into it, and i gotta admit, it is more exciting than boxing. I train muay thai so the stand-up is a lot more appealing to me, but i´d like to learn more about the grappling. The BJJ side is cool, but i still dont understand the different chokes, mounts, etc.

Jpablos80, do you know where to see Saturday´s fight in Buenos Aires? I really want to see what Fedor can do!

Well Justin, I wouldn't know that. But you might try and download a program called TVUPlayer, that's where I watch many tournaments for free! When you get the chance tell me how did it go, ok? =)

Kind regards,
Pablo

Hey Justin! Well, I'm really glad you liked the program, for the ones like us is like PARADISE, isn't it?! =) It's no wonder you didn't know about it, for many it's a well kept secret. We live in a selfish world, but I always try to remember that ONE ALWAYS GET WHAT ONE GIVES. And who knows, maybe one day you will be able to pay me back! =)
Enjoy my friend!
Pablo
