Exclamation List of tools to localize software

Suppose you are asked to translate the user interfase of WINZIP .... one of the most used and small application...

Well, you should open that .exe file in any of the following tools to do the translation:

CATALYST
MULTILIZER
WELOCALIZE

Did you have such a request? or this is not under your scope of jobs?

I did work with Catalyst once, and it's pretty nice, but not so "friendly" like Trados TagEditor.
There's a nice function where you can see the view of the program window while you translate it.

It's a hard work for a translator, it shoud be done by a software developer.

But the software developer knows the programming part but not the translating part....
I think the usual process is to have a translator do the translating and developers test the final product, right?

THE programming part and translation party can be implemented seperately. The translators won't face any code snippet at all.
