Hi,
I need help translating the following slurs from English to Spanish:

gay
faggot
queer

This would be for Puerto Ricans and Central American Spanish. I need to translate a circular that will go out from a public school system to teachers and families. The purpose of the pamphlet is anti-bullying awareness and education.

If it is anti-bullying and educational, aren't these words rather strong, and with a negative sense?

I would use homosexual.
