to have a tumbao...well, gee, this is easy and yet difficult...one a person has a tumbao, it can mean that this person walks in a certain way, it could be a nice tumbao or a very macho tumbao...it depends on the context.
to have a tumbao yeye means to be cool.
this is Cuban Spanish, some other users may post different meanings for their countries.

Once again, the difference to Spanish from Spain is quite noticeable:

Tumbao means to be lying around without doing anything.

In the case of Latin songs, I am almost certain that "tumbao" refers to the meaning given by Sandra: It’s a kind of movement … a specific way of walking, which generally involves a characteristic hip swinging

Hope it helps

Hi there!

tumbao
(Cuba) (m.) gracia, sensualidad, buen ritmo. Celia Cruz cantaba una canción que hablaba de una negrita que tenía tumbao.

Ditto.
I agree with Hebe and Sandra. Tumbao is a specific way of walking.

Esa negrita que va caminando
Esa negrita tiene su tumbao
Y cuando la gente la va mirando
Ella baila de lao va bien apretao

La negra tiene tumbao
Y no camina de lao
Lyrics to "La Negra Tiene Tumbao" by Celia Cruz
