Red face Acronyms

Hello, when you are translating a document and you see an acronym in English that some Spanish speaking countries also use, like CRM. What do you mostly do?
Sometimes I write the acronym in English and the translation in parenthesis, but I think it's more confusing...specially if it appears a lot of times in the document.
You can choose to write the translation only the first time the acr. appears...

Hi Vero. I do the same. I write the acronym in English and the translation in parenthesis once, For subsequent references I just write the acronym as I previously explained in the document its meaning.

Hope it helps

What a good question Verónica! What if it has already been translated? (by someone else I mean) Do you use the English version or the translated one?

Hi Mem!!
Well, I tend to check if the translation of the acronym exists...some people just love creative writting hahahah!!
If it exists, I leave it translated, but if it doesn't, I use the parenthesis.

Does anyone know if there's a rule on how to deal with this? There should be a rule...
