    Default que se entende?

    Ea’ rayo mira pa’ ya


    esto es absolutamente incomprensible para mi...esta frase se ascucha en un reggaeton que creo ser de Puerto Rico.
    Yo hace intendado con el vucabolario ma sin resultado.

    Otra vez, quiero vuestra ayuda.

    La cancion es "El Mellao" de Julio Voltio.

    Estoy de acuerdo con mem286 salvo por el "mirá" no lleva tilde "mira"

    Es verdad RosaWm cuando el verbo está conjugado con el pronombre personal "tú", pero yo soy argentina y usamos el pronombre personal "vos" para la segunda persona del singular, en cuyo caso el verbo sí va con acento "mirá vos". Esa es el motivo. Gracias por hacerlo notar RosaWM!

    ok, the phrase fits perfectly in the song and i'm sure you're right. Very interesting the accent problem...learning is something that will never end and I thank God for that

    Solo queria decir una cosita mas acerca este tema....
    Aunque por traduccion "mira pa'ya" quiere decir "mira para alla", no siempre significa eso. Aveces se usa esa frase para decir algo similar a la frase "hay Dios mio".
    Por ejemplo, tu le cuentas a tu amigo algo increible, su reaccion es "ea' rayo mira pa'ya!". Lo digo de experiencia, tengo amigos Boricuas (de Puerto Rico) y se como hablan y lo que quieren decir.

    Aquí también, Dragona. Cuando decimos
    "mira pa' llá" o "mira pa' eso" no quiere decir que realmente miremos eso o para ese lugar...es una expresión de sorpresa, de algo que no nos esperamos. Es muy común sobre todo en las partes rurales.

    A: Fulana se casó con mengano...
    B: Mira pa' llá...quién se lo iba a decir a ella... que lo iba a agarrar...

    A: A Esperanceja le dieron una casa en la capital.
    B: Mira pa' eso...se salvó la guajira.

    PERO definitivamente en la canción El Mellao, el significado es el que ofreció mem.
    Itan: Podrías sustituir el look that way for el look at her! porque es a una mujer a quien está mirando.
    Realmente, el destino del mundo depende, en primer lugar, de los estadistas y, en segundo lugar, de los intérpretes.

    La verdad solo comentaba que lo era.
    Nunca he oido la cancion de reggaeton asi que no se si era literal or expresion.

    No need.. here we love all the inputs and as you could see I even contributed to your explanation. I just wanted, at the end, to make clear, specially for itan, that the translation offered by mem was the right one. In case, we two created ambiguity with our different explanations.

    Ah, I apologized because I realized that instead of helping I might in fact have been confusing her!
    But I'm glad someone listens to the songs and could correctly translate it!
