    Question Que la/lo pases bien

Hi everyone! I've a doubt for a while that so far nobody has been able to clear up for me (non linguists). I live in the United States, so the Spanish spoken here is mostly a mix of Central American, South American, and of course, Spanglish.

I know that some sayings and phrases I hear are used in certain countries, some in others, and some are native to this area. Sometimes I hear people say "Que lo pases bien", but more frequently i hear "Que la pases bien".

It seems to me that "lo" is kind of general, and could refer to many different nouns. I'm wondering what "la" usually refers to. The following come to my mind: el día, la noche, el fin de semana, etc. I'm confused, because the majority of these words are masculine. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Default Que la pases bien

    Hola Heather:
