I was wondering if you have any good idea about what can be a suitable translation for "Scale tapping?"

I saw this in a supplement brochure where the product claims that once you use it, you can get rid of the scary scale checking lol.

Is this a reference of tapping? As in the guitar technique?

I think tapping is also a stress-reducing technique... but I don't think that's the intended meaning here.

They seem to use the music term to imply that you can skip part of the process, right? You use the product to lose weight, so you no longer dread stepping on the scale?
The thing is, I know near nothing about music, and I barely grasp what tapping is...
