    Gracias!

Aqui en EEUU se usan "escape"...como escape from the world; escape from the maddening crowd; escape from reality; escape from the daily grind; escape from my problems, etc, etc. Por ejemplo "After a hard day at the office writing about fashion is my way of escaping from the world." or simply "Writing about fashion is my escape"

    How about ...

After a hard day at the office, coaching little league keeps me grounded.

Yep, "grounded" is good, useful alternative to escape. It implies that coaching little league keeps you from going nuts.

    "Refuge" is another alternative.
