Talking about maps, can I say 'a profile of a city'?
Is it correct to say 'the works contain panoramic views, maps and profiles of cities. '?

    Thank you for your help.

In many maps it is used the term "Datos Útiles" or just "Información" but I never saw the word "perfil" to refer to a city.

    Hope it helps!

    Sorry then.

If you mean this http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_m9Xe6YC27k...tyscape500.png I would use the word contorno.

If you mean this http://www.dubai-information-site.com/images/bur-dubai-creek-side.jpg then you could say: imagen o fotografía.

Was any of these options what you were refering to?

    Or "elevation"

For example, Unisys Weather: USGS Digital Elevation Maps

If you mean an image where altitude is represented you can say: mapa o imagen topográfica.

Relief map is also used in English. (You want English, right?)

I don't think that relief/topographical/elevation are exactly the same. You might need to do some research on what the original intent was and what these terms mean in a strict sense.

if the meaning you need to convey is "general information" about a particular city, I would say "city overviews"
