apocope -> apocopated form?
Hello everyone
Could you help me translate this phrase from the back of my high school's diploma? Quote:

My english/spanish dictionary gives me 'apocopated form' for 'apocope' but I'm not sure if this is correct because in my english dictionary I can't find anything related to 'apocopate'. Also I'm not sure how to translate SUBDIRECCION, is 'deputy office' correct here? my dictionary also gives me 'post of deputy director'. Thanks a lot. |

I have never seen apocope in that context, but I think it might simply refer to the abbreviation of the institution. As for "subdirección", I would simply use "department" as it just refers to a subdivision of a specific office. Hope it helps!
