Default teoría de la imprevisión - onerosidad sobreviniente

Would you mind helping me translate the phrases in bold into English? I put them in conext.

...por lo que renuncian expresa e irrevocablemente a invocar la teoría de la imprevisión, onerosidad sobreviniente, lesión enorme, abuso de derecho y/o cualquier otro instituto semejante actual o futuro, en orden a obtener la cancelación de cualquiera de las obligaciones de pago con una moneda distinta...

    Thanks!!

Hi Nadia: “onerosidad sobreviniente” is known as “hardship”.

As for “teoría de la imprevisión”, I would translate the phrase as “the Theory of Unpredictability”, or if you want to be more specific, “the Theory of Debt Relief for Unpredictable circumstances”.

Actually, more than a theory, it is a principle, which releases debtors from complying with obligations when the unpredictable circumstances change the conditions originally established in a given agreement.

I do hope that this tips help you

    Regards
