Looking up for more options...
I´m trying to find as many equivalent options in English of the phrase in Spanish: "Sr. Presidente, tomo la palabra" o "Sr. Presidente, haré uso de la palabra" in a Court environment.
I already have: 1. I rise today, Mr Speaker... 2. I take the floor... Any other options? Thanks for your help!  |

Not really sure what you're doing, if you're trying to get a couple of words in then it would be: "Mr. President, if I may..."
