Hola Todos

Estoy realizado una traducción de un plan de cuentas (PUC) en Colombia para un banco y no se cuál es el término exacto en inglés para encaje. No creo que sea mandatory reserve with the central bank.

Agradezco sus sugerencias

Creo que mandatory reserves (con "s") esta bien o simplemente reserves para encaje es correcto. Aquí esta el definición financial usé con su dirección de red:

Encaje bancario: Porcentaje que, respecto del total de los recursos ajenos de un Banco, alcanza el efectivo en caja y el saldo de sus depósitos en el Banco de Expaña.

I know you didn't like mandatory reserve, but "statutory reserve" is very common in the banking and insurance industries. Hope this helps!
