    Cool "Off the top"- re: tasa fija

    Buenos dias/tardes a todos! Cómo traducirian la siguiente expresión en el contexto de una propuesta financiera? La duda me la genera 'off the top', que con la coma parece ser parte del 'flat free'. Mi deadline es en menos de un par de horas y necesito ayuda un poco urgente.
    Gracias anticipadas! La frase en cuestión es:


    $15,000 off the top, flat fee, retained...

    Me parece que te falta el noun, "top" debe estar modificando a algo.
    Puede ser "$15,000 de descuento sobre......"

    cuando algo es "off the top", quiere decir que ocurre antes que nada. O sea, se quita ese "fee" antes de trabajar con los impuestos, expensas, etc.
