What's the difference between CLIPPING and CROPPING ?

So what's the difference?

I'm not sure of the context but generally:

Clipping is cutting an article from a newspaper.

Cropping is trimming a photo by making cuts to top, bottom and/or sides to adjust its size.

Exacto, el clipping es básicamente un enmascaramiento.
