Re: Does QuarkXpress support Nepali?
Hi Adam,
not having the dictionary means that you won't be able to check spelling and hyphenations won't work fine. These are minor issues since you can turn the hyphenation off. What you do need to have is a complete font set compatible with the language you are working on.
Re: Does QuarkXpress support Nepali?
Okay. So as long as the translation has already been spell checked there should be no problem in pasting it into an InDesign file.
Are there languages that don't have compatible fonts for InDesign?
Re: Does QuarkXpress support Nepali?
Indesign comes with a limited number of font sets for the most common non-latin languages, like chinese, japanese, hebrew, arabic and korean. If you need to work with other language, you can search in the internet for additional fonts and install them
Re: Does QuarkXpress support Nepali?
Okay, perfect. So there is really no language limitation for InDesign then? One can always paste any language into InDesign and upload the necessary front package.
