Portuguese Lyrics - Looking for a very basic translation
Hello,
I'm working on a remix of the following lyrics, and I wanted to just get the general idea as to what they're talking about (in English). Even a couple words or the basic theme will work just fine.
Here's the vocal link - it's a YouTube video:
YouTube - Bonde da cdd - Os hawaianos by : Xuxa 2x
Song: "Bonde da CDD" - Os Hawaianos
Thank you so much for the help! :)
Re: Portuguese Lyrics - Looking for a very basic translation
Wow, that is a really... I don't even know the word in English... Maybe low level?
To give you a bit of context, Xuxa is a TV presenter in Brazil, and she was very successful when I was a kid (some 20 years ago!). She was blond, so that is why you see a bunch of "blond" people there. Also, Xuxa used to work with kids (and maybe still does), and the so-called song seems to draw on that.
The "song" uses lots of slangs, most of which I don't even know (and I am Brazilian!). Because of that, and because of the style, I would say it was made by people in the favelas (slumps).
It is hard to say what they really mean, and there is not really a meaning, or a well thought lyric, just some sentences thrown out, with lots of slangs as I said, and the meaning is implicit. Some of the things they say: "nice rhythm (something), all you need is to blossom and you will see", "the hawaiian are sending, to the young boys and girls", "for those who come from abroad, don't get surprised when you see 13, 15 passing (something)".
Nothing is said explicitly, so maybe there is a "good" interpretation to what they are saying, but I can't see much good in that....
Re: Portuguese Lyrics - Looking for a very basic translation
Thank you very much for the help! I assumed it's a favela song due to the nature and style of the track. While the lyrics are merely implicit, I'm still a little concerned regarding the message.
I really appreciate your efforts. Thanks again.
