Default membership for a technician in translation ?

Will you please help me ? I´ve just got my Tertiary Level Degree "Técnica Superior en Lengua Extranjera Inglés con Orientación en Traducción". I´ve been working with written private translations and consecutive interpretation for nearly 8 years. Is there any place I can join membership without being a "Traductora Pública National". Thank you

Question Re: membership for a technician in translation ?

It is hard to answer when we don`t know where you are writing from, where are you located, or where you live. You may join a local or a international organization, too.

    Your profile is almost empty.

    Please, clarify your entry.

    Default more information about technician

Walter, I´m not sure if you´ve gotten my e mail replying your questions. I´m just learning how to use this.
ANyway, for everyone who may help me. I´m from Chaco; in the North of Argentina. There are Colegios de Traductores e Intérpretes in some Provinces of my country but they are for Public Translators. This tertiary level career is new. In fact, I´m the first graduated; that´s why I don´t know where to go. I Tried to attach 3 files, materias cursadas, perfil profesional e incumbencia, resolución ministerial de aprobación de la carrera. I think I wasn´t successful

    Maria Elena,

I did get your PM and I did reply to both of them. I said your profile was amost empty and I couldn´t see where you were from or where you lived. That`s very important in order to answer your question, since rules and organizations and requirements change from place to place, country to country.

I also suggested the information you were giving me should go public. Knowing where you live may help colleagues from your area give you a more accurate piece of advise.

I assume you did get my replies - I can see that in my PM info - and for that reason you are now posting this new message with the info I suggested.

    Good luck.

    Saludos

    Vero

P/D: además del de Santa Fe y el de Bs. As.
