Offer Letter for Translation Work
Hi
Iīm looking for what information exactlyI should include in a generic letter offering my services to local magazines, agencies etc who might have Spanish->English translation work.
Is there a standard template letter available online? Or would anybody mind sharing the copy they use when looking for work?
Thanks for any help.
Saludos!! :)
Re: Offer Letter for Translation Work
It depends on the company you are submitting your application to. Sometimes they ask for certain specific things like work experience (a basic). This letter should be a way of introducing yourself and your services to the company, so you should probably specify your education, work experience and courses related to the position. You should also write about your career goals and describe what you can bring into the company (how you would be helping them if you got the job and how they would help you further develop as a professional if they hire you).
Those are just some ideas, there is probably a template online too, hope it helped.

Re: Offer Letter for Translation Work
I would say a 2 pages CV and 1 page cover letter. Just include the relevant information to that specific position, don't "oversell" yourself, HR doesn't like to read loooong CVs.

Does anybody have any online links for more info about this topic, please?
