Does InDesign support Burmese?
Hi everyone!
I'm having LOTS of trouble with a file in Burmese and InDesign. I can't seem to find a way in which fonts won't be corrupted. I've tried numerous of them and still, same issue.
Do you know if InDesign supports this language at all? If not, what other choices do I have?
Thanks so much!
Re: Does InDesign support Burmese?
I donīt think Indesign support this language, nor Karen and some other non-common languages. Believe it or not, there are some things in which Word is still more useful than Indd.

Hmm I think I've worked with Karen and Indd in the past and I think it worked fine. Only once maybe I had some issues but not as it is with Burmese :(

I'm thinking about recreating in MS Word, printing a PDF and link that PDF to Indd.
Re: Does InDesign support Burmese?
I've found this post at the Adobe's blog recommending to use Padauk as "the" font for Burmese. However, it seems not to work for all files, but could be a good starting point.
