Default un canto a Galicia

UN CANTO A GALICIA Julio Iglesias

I don’t know Galician, but found some of the translation on the internet, and I got help from our friend Exxcéntrica :

Eu queroche tanto, Yo te quiero tanto,
E ainda non o sabes... Y aun no lo sabes
Eu queroche tanto, Yo te quiero tanto,
Terra do meu pai. Tierra de mi padre

Quero as tuas ribeiras Quiero tus riberas
Que me fan lembrare Que hacen recordar
Os teus ollos tristes Y tus ojos tristes
Que me fan chorare. Que me hacen llorar

Un canto a Galicia, hey, Un canto a Galicia, hey

Terra do meu pai. Tierra de mi padre
Un canto a
Galicia, hey, Un canto a Galicia
Miña terra nai. Que es mi tierra madre

Teño morriña, hey, Tengo nostalgia
Teño saudade, Tengo saudade
Porque estou lonxe Porque estoy lejos
De eses teus lares. De tus hogares (de tus lados)

.................................................. .................................................. ......

Salut Frank van den Eeden

(Forgive me mem286 for speaking in French... but with all due respect I'm a bit sick of English , I'm just telling Frank that Galician and Portuguese are very similar and to demonstrate that I tried to translate it too)

Terra do meu pai. Terra do meu pai.

Quero as tuas ribeiras Quero as tuas ribeiras
Que me fan lembrare Que me fazem lembrar
Os teus ollos tristes Os teus olhos tristes

Que me fan chorare. Que me fazem chorar

Un canto a Galicia, hey, Um canto à Galicia, hei,
Terra do meu pai. Terra do meu pai.
Un canto a Galicia, hey, Um canto à Galicia, hei,

Miña terra nai. A minha terra natal

Teño morriña, hey, Estou triste,
Teño saudade, Tenho / Sinto saudades,
Porque estou lonxe Porque estou longe
De eses teus lares. Desses teus locais. / Do teu lar.

Cordialement et saludos mem286,

Faraó

Hello Frank,

Yes, i posted my translation because the resemblance is amazing.
No problem at all if you don't speak Portuguese.
Greets,
