    Default .ini files for tag editor in Trados 2009

    Is there a similar to an .ini file, very usefull for IT processesed file, that are used with tag editor to block segments that would break the file if translated, but forTrados 2009?

    mm, I don't think there's such a thing as the ".ini" files in Trados 2007, for 2009. I think you need to block whatever you need to hide directly on the file to be opened in Trados 2009.

    Hi analaura,
    Thanks for the reply. I was working with some HTML files, I had to make a .xml out of them and pre-process and then post-process them. Working with a .ini file was a lot better. I don't understand why Trados developers did not include such a useful feature on their updated versions.
