Hi Vizconde

I've downloaded the latest version of OmegaT and started playing with it (not much experience with translation tools I'm afraid). Going through the tutorial I was left with the impression that the tool doesn't yet understand general XML files. Am I correct? It would be a pity if this was the case, because most of the work I do is processing XML files.

You need to use Omegat along with Okapi Framework (Rainbow) to generate XLIFF files out of XML files. You can also create filters in OmegaT OmegaT, the free translation memory tool
