OmegaT and Best strategy
Greetings,
I'm new to OmegaT and I've already found it a really useful CAT tool. I'd like to know what's best to do with OmegaT due to its capabilities:
a) to keep one large TM or to work with different TM, and if the later is the best option
a.1) to keep a TM for each individual translation or to keep a TM for each area of translation
c) to keep one large glossary or to work with different ones
I will really appreciate your advice.
Cheers!!!

Hi Alexy!! Welcome to the forum!
I've never used OmegaT, is it a CAT tool designed for a specific type of file?
Thanks!

Thanks for your welcoming Veronica,
Actually, Omegat has been designed to work with several kind of files, including (x)html. sdx, odt, op, among others. Even .doc documents can converted to .odt through OpenOffice. But I still need some help with the doubts posted above...
Cheers!!!

Hi Alex,
Practise told me that client specific TM are more productive.
Also, if you have many similar projects I would mantain a big TM to do a pretranslation and then start the actual translation with the client specific TM.
